Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role that requires a proactive, highly organized individual with excellent communication skills, a strong background in medical administration, and fluency in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati. You will be a key part of our administrative support team, directly assisting 3 to 4 healthcare providers with daily operations, including patient scheduling, procedure booking, EMR management, and patient interaction. Experience in both OBGYN and Psychiatry settings is essential.
Key Responsibilities: •Provide administrative support to physicians and healthcare providers. •Manage high-volume phone lines with professional etiquette. •Schedule patient appointments, hospital procedures, and surgeries. •Accurately maintain and update patient records in EMR systems. •Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and external service providers. •Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with privacy regulations. •Assist with psychiatric services on Saturdays as required. •Use medical terminology and documentation accurately and appropriately.
Required Qualifications: •Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Administrative Assistant in a clinical setting. •Demonstrated ability to support multiple healthcare providers independently. •Hands-on experience in OBGYN and Psychiatry specialties (mandatory)Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. •Experience booking hospital procedures and surgeries. •Proficiency with hospital systems, including Epic. •Certified as a Medical Administrative Assistant (required)Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills. •Fluency in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati (required)Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems. Commitment to patient confidentiality and data security. •Flexible availability with the ability to work Saturdays and accommodate clinic needs for overtime.
