This position is open to candidates across Canada, with all employees working remotely from their homes. Candidates must have a suitable space at home they can use for work, along with reliable high-speed internet. This role may require employees to work non-standard hours to support global needs, though typically they will work during standard core hours (i.e., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) when non-standard hours are not required.

Job Summary

Working closely with the rest of the team, this role will support, identify, and deliver technical solutions to support business initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide production support through triaging, assessing, prioritizing, and managing issues raised on our Salesforce platform.

  • Configure and test technical solutions while improving process automation and system architecture.

  • Engage with the IT team, multiple business groups, and vendors to deliver fixes and improvements into production.

  • Assist in managing the backlog including the technical analysis of requirements, issue escalations, project identification, escalations, and backlog grooming sessions.

  • Collaborate on technical and user experience design reviews and provide active feedback on all initiatives.

  • Provide staff end user, system configuration, monitoring, and administrative support.

  • Support data requests, integrations, and other general system administration and maintenance activities.

  • Participate in architecture review discussions and planning sessions.

  • Create, execute, and manage test cycles and resources from technical testing to user acceptance and integration testing.

  • Drive efficiencies for the organization by leveraging best practices, new technologies and implementing creative solutions to business challenges.

  • Perform business and systems analysis to optimize business processes through designing and implementing user experience centric solutions supporting business requirements

  • Document and develop detailed diagrams for current state, user stories, system flows, to translate functional business problems into technical requirements and end to end solutions that align with business goals

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in software management including production support and 3+ years Salesforce experience focusing on workflow & process automation, data management and data validation.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology management or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to work effectively in a 100% remote/virtual environment
  • Ability to manage competing demands, experience with Agile delivery model
  • Strong business analysis, planning and organizational skills
  • Other advanced Salesforce Administrator certifications (i.e. Sales Cloud, Community Cloud)
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Communities & Portals, Lightning, Outbound messaging & APIs, 3rd party applications, APEX is a definite asset
  • Other advanced Salesforce Administrator certifications (i.e. Sales Cloud, Community Cloud) is a plus
