Rental Technician

Position Overview:

To drive rental sales, profitability, and growth. It is the job of the rental coordinator to focus on growing and managing the rental fleet of ITM Instruments. The rental coordinator will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the rental business by implementing strategies that increase growth and enable sales targets to be achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Function Testing rental units when they are returned from customers
• Collaborate with other departments to develop our online presence (SEM, Marketing)
• Efficiently manage rental inventory
• Establish and adapt internal work procedures to facilitate overall efficiency
• Monitor outgoing orders and incoming returns
• Monitor current orders for extensions, late fees, etc.

Qualifications:

• Related education, Diploma or equivalent in Electronics Engineering Technology, Instrumentation Engineering Technology, or related field
• Experience in customer support is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
• Market knowledge
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport
• Time management and planning skills
• Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
• Self-managing and goal-oriented
• Ability to work with rental equipment hands-on to provide customer support
• Troubleshooting ability valuable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
