- Is a Canadian food processing company and a subsidiary of a well-known family-owned group of companies.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, revise and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Provide general corporate and commercial advice.
- Manage litigation matters and answer questions related to financing and construction matters.
- Conduct legal research, identify issues and recommend legal strategies.
- Support a wide variety of corporate and commercial transactions.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of legal experience practicing business law at a large law firm or major corporation.
- Effective communication, analytical and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate highly complex issues to non lawyers.
- Ability to identify legal risks and work effectively to mitigate them.
- Professional, respective, objective and adaptable.
- Lawyer in good standing with the New Brunswick Bar.
