We are seeking a Senior Technician, Quality to join our team in Oakville, ON.

LOCATION: 3280 South Service Road, Oakville, Ontario, CA L6L 0B1, On-site Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on incoming components, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing and the PMO teams
  • Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience; post-secondary education in quality or related discipline considered an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience in a custom machining environment
  • CMM programming experience is a must.
  • Familiarity with Zeiss Calypso software is a huge asset.
  • Knowledge of optical 3D scan metrology software such as Zeiss ATOS is an asset
  • Proficient in using GD&T concepts in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015/AS9100D
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and measurement equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
