About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join our energetic Fusion Data team in Canada and help us build full stack solutions on MFGDM (Manufacturing Data Model) that allow our end users to edit data concurrently from our applications, including Fusion, as well as our API. MFGDM is the foundation of Manufacturing Cloud and core to Data Platform for Autodesk Cloud Flagship Product - Fusion. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on craftsperson that is open and enthusiastic about learning and working across the technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of an Agile, multi-site team on the Concurrency project within Fusion
- Implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and fixing bugs as they arise, in both Fusion Desktop and Web-based experiences
- Helping with feature design, and translating design and product requirements into engineering tasks
- Maintaining a high standard of code quality by following best practices around testing, code reviews, and design patterns
- Understanding Agile methodologies, principles and values within the team. Participating in team retrospectives and feedback loops to improve on future iterations
- Collaborating and aligning with remotely located teams involved in the project
Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, NodeJS

Exposure to C++ and React

Creative and user-centric thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Familiar and enthusiastic about writing well-tested applications (unit tests, functional tests, etc.)

Remote collaboration skills to work effectively on a distributed, worldwide team across multiple time zones

Flexible with changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projects

Experience with Git or other versioning systems

- Travailler au sein d’une équipe Agile répartie sur plusieurs sites, sur le projet Concurrency de Fusion
- Implémenter de nouvelles fonctionnalités, maintenir le code existant et corriger les bogues au fur et à mesure dans les environnements Fusion Desktop et Web
- Participer à la conception des fonctionnalités, et transformer les exigences de design et de produit en tâches techniques
- Maintenir un haut niveau de qualité de code en suivant les bonnes pratiques en matière de tests, de revues de code et de modèles de conception
- Comprendre les méthodologies Agile, ses principes et ses valeurs au sein de l’équipe. Participer aux rétrospectives et aux boucles de rétroaction afin d’améliorer les itérations futures
- Collaborer et s’aligner avec des équipes distribuées à l’international impliquées dans le projet
Qualifications Minimales
- Baccalauréat en informatique ou équivalent
- Excellentes compétences en communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit
- Connaissances en TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, NodeJS
- Familiarité avec C++ et React
- Pensée créative et centrée sur l’utilisateur·ice, solides compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes
- Intérêt marqué pour le développement d’applications bien testées (tests unitaires, tests fonctionnels, etc.)
- Compétences en collaboration à distance, pour travailler efficacement au sein d’une équipe mondiale distribuée sur plusieurs fuseaux horaires
- Souplesse face aux changements et capacité à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément
- Expérience avec Git ou d’autres systèmes de contrôle de versions
