We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a positive experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Train and mentor new staff on food handling procedures, safety protocols, and customer service skills.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus, plan special events, and implement promotional activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and knowledgeable about food safety regulations.
- Experience in cash handling and basic financial management.
- Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with customers.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong team management skills to foster a collaborative work atmosphere.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
