We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic, creative Ruminant Territory Manager, Western Canada to ensure the success of our growing team!
How will you make an impact?
Business Development
- Grow Jefo sales and business relationships within the Ruminant industry (Dairy, Cattle, Small Ruminants) in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
- Develop & support the sales strategic plan to optimize resources and excel in sales growth.
- Work with the Jefo team to develop and implement Value Proposition to meet the industrie and client needs.
- Plan & execute discovery meetings with potential clients to clearly understand needs and present Jefo Solutions.
- Maintain the customer database to ensure efficiency to internal communication.
- Perform after-sales service to customers to ensure their satisfaction.
Internal Support
- Grow your and Jefo’s proximity to clients and prospective clients within the Sales Territory.
- Expand Jefo Brand Recognition within Western Canada.
- Represent the company at related industry events.
- Facilitate and execute product knowledge and sales with existing and prospective. customers.
How will you grab our attention?
- BSc Animal Science or equivalent balanced with practical experience.
- 5-10 year’s experience in sales and / or Cattle / Dairy production / nutrition.
- Well established Feed industry, veterinary and producer contacts within the sales territory.
- Cattle and Dairy production, health and nutrition knowledge.
- Knowledge of the global, Canadian and Local Ruminant market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac environment; asset to have experience with SalesForce and Concur.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
Specific conditions related to the position
- Based in Western Canada, Alberta being an asset.
- Minimum of 40% overnight travel to support the sales territory.
- Periodic travel within and outside of Canada.
- Travel required on an irregular schedule.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Canada.
