The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As well as organizational and time management skills. Reporting to the Director of Training, Community Development and Risk Management, the successful candidate will be responsible to promote and provide training consulting services to the College’s business, Indigenous, and industrial community organizations. What you will be doing: Work with existing clients and training providers to identify potential training opportunities, market new and existing products and services, build multi-year training plans, identify and negotiate for the services of potential trainers, prepare course notifications, secure training location and equipment, and promote training; Negotiate MOU’s and contracts; Ensure the development of programs/courses to meet partner/client needs; Research, identify and analyze contract training needs for region’s clients and priorities/trends/demographics/mandatory training required to respond to changes in government legislation and other emerging trends and/or opportunities; Develop budgets for each program, taking into consideration faculty costs, resources, travel classroom costs, graduation, etc.; Draft program synopses for the supervisors consideration and approval, as well as providing guidance to faculty in the development of course outlines; Recommend and implement strategies to maximize revenue potential; and Meet with instructors and students on a regular basis. What you will need to be considered: 3-year Diploma in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing or a related/relevant field; Minimum of five years experience in a management or supervisory position, or Human Resource Development, Employer Services, or Marketing/sales related responsibilities; and Experience with computer word processing software, email and presentation software.
