Position Title

Athletics Game Attendant (Hiring Year Round)

Position Summary

The Athletics department is hiring multiple positions with start dates throughout the year. Hours will be variable and dependent upon athletic game schedules. This posting will remain open until March 31, 2026 and review of applicants will be ongoing.

The Athletics Games Attendant will provide support for the successful running and reporting of Intercollegiate Athletics Games at Red Deer Polytechnic and will contribute to the creation of a safe, exciting and positive environment for all participants.

Position Responsibilities

May be tasked to do any of the following duties at Athletics events:

  • Sells tickets and collects cash from sales.

  • Provides game-play spotting for the games statistics recorder.

  • Provides Time-clock and scorekeeping for submission to the head official.

  • Reports and posts game results.

  • Conducts Line Judging.

  • Completes pre and post-event setup and take down

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Experience in customer service is an asset

  • Interest and some knowledge or interest in Athletics desired

  • Knowledge of Red Deer Polytechnic environment (Athletics) preferred
