The High Net Worth Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the PGIM Investments generalist wholesalers and client engagement team across the West region. This individual will focus on promoting the distribution of the firm’s suite of alternative investment products and direct indexing solutions to financial advisors, RIAs, family offices, and institutional clients. The Sales Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, delivering insights, education, and strategic guidance to help clients integrate these solutions into their portfolios.
What you will do
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, and events to educate clients on the benefits and implementation of alternatives and direct indexing. Serve as a trusted advisor, offering portfolio construction insights and product positioning guidance.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the firm’s alternative investments (e.g., private equity, hedge funds, real assets) and direct indexing platforms. Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments.
- Partner with internal teams including marketing, product, and investment strategy to align messaging and support client needs. Provide regular reporting on sales activity, pipeline development, and market feedback.
What you can expect
- This is a sales support role with a pay for performance culture. You will be expected to support our generalist wholesalers to help them meet specific sales targets across investment products, investment vehicles and investment firms.
- This position requires strong communication skills. You will be expected to be effective in communicating one-on-one, electronically and presenting in front of groups of financial professionals.
- This position demands that you are well organized, structured, and can be disciplined in sales systems and processes.
- You are expected to work with internal and external business partners to align resources to expected sales outcomes.
What you will bring
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in alternatives and/or direct indexing.
- Proven track record of sales success and relationship management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
