Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of new windows and door products
- Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations
- Conduct material and performance tests to improve product durability, energy efficiency, and sustainability
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance product features, such as automation, insulation, and eco-friendly materials
- Develop technical documentation, including design specifications, testing reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure GreenFox stays ahead of the competition
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues related to product performance or manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field
- Proven experience in R&D, product design, or engineering, preferably in the windows and doors manufacturing sector
- Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and product testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Asset Experience in windows and door production is a major asset. If you have hands-on experience in designing, testing, or improving windows and doors, your knowledge of material properties, production methods, and quality control standards will be highly valuable in this role.
