About the role

Days Inn on the Harbour is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals with good attention to detail to join our housekeeping team. Our housekeeping professionals ensure that all of our guest rooms and common areas are clean and presented to perfection. A friendly and pleasant personality is a must. If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you! One seasonal part-time position is available. Weekend and on-call availability is required. Preference given to those with at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

· Stock and sort supplies

· Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms

· Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries

· Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. rollaway beds

· Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests

· Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Physical mobility and stamina required

· Ability to follow instruction

· Detail-oriented

· Professional attitude is required

· Ability to work independently

· Excellent time management skills

· Good organizational skills

· Ability to work under pressure

· Ability to work under time limitations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
