Electrical Hardware Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Hardware Engineerto join our team.

Location: Ottawa, ON
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Create detailed designs for electronic systems, including schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings.

• Prototyping: Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.

• System Integration: Integrate hardware and software components to ensure seamless operation of mechatronic systems.

• Testing and Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of hardware and software to identify and resolve issues.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality products on time.

• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for designs, including specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides.

• Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually improve design processes and product quality.

Qualifications:
• Education: Successfully completed Electrical Engineering program, or a related field.

• Strong experience in hardware design and development for rugged electronics.
• Exposure to PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Expedition)
