The Service Technician is responsible for executing field service work including repairs, warranty work, touch-ups, and small construction modifications for existing clients. Working closely with the Service Manager and Service Coordinator, the Service Technician represents the company on-site, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the
highest standard of quality and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on service work as assigned, including general repairs, finish work, hardware adjustments, touch-ups, and minor construction or carpentry tasks.

  • Execute job list items with attention to detail and client satisfaction.

  • Conduct on-site assessments as needed and report findings to the Service Manager for follow-up for quoting.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as the on-site representative of the company.

  • Communicate with the Service Coordinator to confirm schedules, materials needed, and job-specific requirements.

  • Ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with company and safety standards.

  • Document completed work in Corfix with photos; provide updates to the Service Manager for records and billing.

  • Identify issues that may require escalation or additional service and relay information to the Service Manager.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work vehicle.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, finish work, or service-related roles.

  • Strong skills in general construction, drywall, painting, hardware installation, and basic troubleshooting.

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Comfortable interacting with clients and representing the company professionally in the field.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift and carry materials, use power tools, and work safely in a variety of jobsite conditions.

Preferred

  • Experience in interior construction, commercial renovations, or tenant improvements.

  • Familiarity with punch list management, warranty work, and occupied space service.

  • Working knowledge of mobile apps or tools for job tracking and reporting.
