About the role

Integrity is actively recruiting an experienced Senior CNC Controls Technician to join our expanding team.

The Senior CNC Controls Technician will be responsible for being the first on scene to diagnose CNC breakdowns, production issues and identify next process to repair. They will also assist in performing preventative maintenance on all equipment.

The Senior CNC Controls Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • First on scene to diagnose CNC breakdowns, production issues, and identify next process to repair

  • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC equipment, presses, compressors, conveyors, etc.

  • Maintain a safe work environment

  • Assist in new equipment installations and upgrades

  • Assist Maintenance team with workflow, parts needs, outsource, and real-time CMMS

  • Assist in training junior technicians

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience

  • Proven deep knowledge of CNC controls, specifically, Heidenhain and Fanuc knowledge is an asset

  • Machining experience and understanding an asset

  • Industrial Electrician or Millwright certification is an asset

  • Ability to adapt a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting

  • Possess strong ability to analyze errors, read service logs, and interpret sensor data to come up with an understanding of the root causes

  • Ability to adapt to changing situations

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey technical issues to various stakeholders

  • Ability to read complex mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

  • Ability to work independently or as a team and share knowledge with junior members

  • Ability to follow OHSA and internal health & safety regulations, policies, and SOPs

  • Ability to follow line-up from leader and learn company procedures
