ABOUT US
Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivvik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.
Air Inuit's Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to the company's essential mission of providing safe, timely and high-quality air service to the people living and doing business in the enchanting region of Northern Quebec.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Support for the Technical Records Department, including data entry, filing, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical Records Data Entry in various aircraft, engine and propeller logbooks and entries in our electronic database;
- Involvement in special projects;
- Verification of files, filing and archiving;
- Updating amendments to Technical Publications;
- Carry out all other assigned task whenever required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Be familiar with the following software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Bilingualism is preferred (French/English: spoken and written). Inuktitut is an asset;
- Team spirit;
- Able to work meticulously and possess good organizational skills;
- Detail oriented;
- Ability to show initiative and work well under pressure;
- Must be available for occasional northern travel;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC);
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
- Situated in Montreal, Quebec
- 37.5 hours per week
- option of compressed work week
COMPENSATION
- Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy;
- Salary starting at $21.76 / hour
