We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Commissary Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling and packaging a variety of foods according to Nature's Emporium recipes and requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in a food production environment, who has a demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in all food service preparation and day-to-day assembly of various commissary items.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, kitchen policies and sanitization procedures throughout scheduled shift.
• Ensures products are stored at the correct temperatures and the recipes are consistently followed with correct portions, and ingredients.
• Prepare ingredients and assemble commissary items.
• Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep the cost within the forecasted range.
• Ensure that all items are prepared promptly by restocking ingredients at workstation and meeting prep times to ensure stock levels.
• Set up and clean station according to policies and food handling requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling and preparation
• Ability to understand and follow health, safety, and food handling procedures.
• Team player, adaptable with a positive professional attitude
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely.
