Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Industrial Equipment Sales Representative with a strong background in electrical systems, specifically medium voltage switchgear and automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical equipment, hands-on sales experience, and the ability to manage and grow client relationships in this specialized sector. This role is 100% commission based.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the medium voltage switchgear and automation markets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Evaluate and price used electrical equipment for acquisition and resale.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with customers across various industries.
- Provide technical insights and support throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Represent the company at relevant trade shows and industry events.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3-5+ years in sales of electrical equipment, especially medium voltage switchgear, MCCs, or automation systems.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical distribution, controls, and automation solutions.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and online sales tools.
- Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
