About The Opportunity Shermco Canada is seeking a motivated and safety minded Apprentice Electrician to join our Saskatchewan Electrical Services team in Regina . Our Electrical Services team provides electrical construction, maintenance, and specialty services and solutions to our many clients in industrial sectors such as Utility, Mining, Oil & Gas, Technology and many more. From 24v to 230kV, our team does it all.

Responsibilities Job Description:

• Construct, alter, repair, and test all electrical components that are integral to the operations of industrial activities and electrical systems.
• Install new and maintain low, medium, and high voltage equipment.
• Work in industrial work settings and environments.
• Work around energized power and control equipment.
• Contribute to the execution of completing work safety.
• Work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform all duties to a level of competency, normally expected of an Apprentice Electrician.
• Will be responsible to become familiar with, abide by, and to administer the Shermco Health, Personnel and Safety policies.
• Will adhere to Shermco’s Alcohol and Drug Policy as defined; and
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial or commercial setting considered an asset.
• Industrial facility safe work qualifications/training considered asset.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must have a valid driver's license and able to maintain a clean abstract.
• Available for out-of-town work based on varying project requirements.
