We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer with front-end development skills — someone who leads with design thinking but has the technical know-how to bring their work to life in the browser.
Position Overview:
We need a versatile professional with a strong background in UX/UI frontend development and a keen eye for user experience. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop engaging, high-performance web applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UI/UX design for websites and digital interfaces, from wireframes to final layouts
- Design user journeys, information architecture, and high-fidelity UI for marketing websites and project portals
- Test and ensure responsive designs are pixel perfect and meet highest display standards.
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build dynamic, responsive interfaces with React and integrate with NodeJS back-end services.
- Translate design concepts into user-friendly, interactive, and accessible UI/UX solutions.
- Marketing automation user experience including email, workflows and web content updates.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experience.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
- Ensure a high level of polish, consistency, and usability across all touchpoints
- Stay up to date on design and front-end trends, bringing fresh ideas to every project
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Figma
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript: Demonstrated expertise in building and styling web pages.
- React & NodeJS: Solid experience with React for frontend development, with additional proficiency in NodeJS.
- A strong understanding of core development principles and best practices, particularly in frontend technologies and UI/UX design.
Nice to Have:
- Git: Experience with version control systems to manage codebases collaboratively.
- HubSpot, Webflow, Wordpress: Familiarity with these platforms/tools is a bonus and will help you quickly adapt to additional project requirements.

We want to break down barriers to make it easier for chefs to bring their concepts from a great idea to “tested and approved” by the market, faster. By joining the JCK food halls, foodpreneurs and restaurateurs become part of one of THE must-eat destinations in their city, bringing their innovative food ideas to reality.
The organization’s key activities are: developing food halls, building and subleasing commercial kitchens with complete restaurant infrastructure to restaurant groups and chefs, developing technical applications to support ordering and payments, providing restaurants with marketing, branding, and supply chain services, and managing supporting workforce structures such as cleaning staff, beverage service, and delivery drivers to support food hall operations.
