We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, passion for working with children and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental office environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for children.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in Dentrix software.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Dental Hygiene License
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
