Supply Chain Coordinator

By providing professional support to Food Service Solutions Inc.’s operations nationwide, your position is integral to the financial and sustained growth of our company.
As the Supply Chain Coordinator, providing purchasing and inventory support, as well as ensuring item information and purchasing data is complete and accurate in the ERP system. This role will be reporting to Supply Chain Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow up with purchase orders and document ETA dates, ensuring the deliveries dates are met.
- Investigating and resolving inventory record discrepancies.
- Entering Receiving information into the ERP system
- Proactively monitor and resolve potential misses, track, expedite and micro-manage critical orders.
- Responds to internal and external inquiries to purchasing related issues and provides order status updates to Customers Service and field sales.
- Responsible for maintaining information about Suppliers and item detail to ensure integrity of system data such as cost, lead-time, delivery dates and addresses.
- Raise corrective actions for defects from Suppliers and work on resolution.
- Resolve Invoice issues and coordinate with Accounts Payable.
- Work with Suppliers to resolve issues.
- Issue purchase orders
- Running reporting for Inventory, Open Orders, and other related reports
- Maintain and enhance the operational relations with suppliers and contribute to the competitiveness of business by optimizing purchases within the respective entity.
- Other related tasks as assigned by Management.
Position Requirements:
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools
- Has strong understanding of logistics and procurement processes.
- Is committed to professional and client service excellence.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of industry experience with Supply Chain Management, logistics, inventory management, or procurement
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills is required, specifically in Excel
