We are seeking a Pressure Vessel and Piping Designer to join our innovative team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to cutting-edge designs, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.

Location: Innisfail, Alberta
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Drafting – Develop 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels, and structural skids using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Piping Design – Create 3D models and drawings for piping packages utilizing CADWorx.
  • Technical Documentation – Prepare and enter detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) into ERP software to ensure accurate purchasing and inventory management.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to interpret customer requirements, incorporate design changes, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Quality Assurance – Ensure all designs comply with client specifications, ASME codes, API standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Continuous Improvement – Incorporate feedback from fabrication processes into drawings to enhance future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 3-5 years of direct manufacturing experience in pressure vessel and piping package design.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Autodesk Inventor and CADWorx, specifically for vessels and piping systems.
  • Education: Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), ASME codes, and API standards.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
