Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

  • Lead by example, focus on motivating leaders and co-workers. Lead and manage a multidisciplinary PD&E team. Shape and embody our Arjo culture, foster innovation and excellence across our diverse global organization.

  • Responsible for driving leadership and competence agenda for department: Together with the HR function, identify needs and gaps, and build leadership and competence plans to meet the short- and long-term business needs

  • Accountable to enable a change culture by leading in the unknown and being an ambassador for change and business development.

  • Collaborate across various departments such as product management, manufacturing, procurement, regulatory, service and rental.

  • Develop and implement PD&E strategies that align with the company's objectives and market needs.

  • Perform additional duties as and when required to support the overall objectives of the role and the organization.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps in collaboration with relevant PD&E stakeholders and Product Management.

  • Identify and prioritize key projects, supportive tools and technology initiatives to drive product innovation and improvement.

  • Collaborate with management to set long-term goals and objectives for the PD&E department.

Program Management

  • Monitor project progress in terms of scope and budget. Support Project Manager, address issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Prepare for successful execution of PD&E projects, tools and capabilities.

  • Lifecycle Technical Product Ownership, under the lead of the Program Managers.

Accountability for Line in Project-Line operating model (who and how)

Overall accountable to secure and allocate resources, develop skills and capabilities, to support technical solution, methodology and tools, according to project-line operating model.

Innovation & Development

  • Drive the exploration and development of new products, tools and technologies within the departments accountability in the line organization.

  • Enable the team to stay in the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, regulation and competitive landscape.

  • Foster a creative and collaborative environment across departments and product categories that encourages innovative thinking.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all PD&E and Maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements.

  • Implement robust design assurance and quality control processes.

  • Drive regular reviews to maintain high standards of product quality and reliability.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, academia, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements :

  • Master or Bachelor´s degree in engineering, science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in PD&E, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successful product development and innovation.
  • Skilled in modern product development best practices.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of working in regulated industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Financial acumen, holistic understanding of the business and strategic capabilities.
  • Managerial courage and cross-functional influence to take and implement decisions necessary to execute strategy.
  • Experience and ability to lead change and transformation.
  • Experience and ability to lead global cross functional diverse teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
