**Qualifications:**

  • Previous experience in a dispatch environment, ideally within Air Operations.

  • A strong desire to embrace the responsibilities of the dispatch center, whether you are an experienced Dispatcher or an eager newcomer.

  • Familiarity with flight packages and the essential documentation as outlined by the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).

  • A solid understanding of flight crew duty time regulations is essential.

  • A foundational grasp of CARs and the different categories of flight operations.

  • A minimum of one year’s experience working within a dispatch center.

**Duties:**

  • Vigilantly monitor flight operations to ensure stringent safety and compliance.

  • Facilitate seamless communication across various departments to disseminate updates and gather critical information.

  • Diligently record duty times for all pilots with accuracy.

  • Efficiently coordinate pilot resources for flight crews and support personnel as needed.

  • Develop and expertly manage flight crew schedules.

  • Collaborate with the Charters Department for effective flight planning, in conjunction with Flight Operations and Maintenance.

  • Conduct thorough audits of complete flight packages following the conclusion of flights.

  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate billing data.

  • Lead and supervise our dedicated Dispatch Team.

  • Understand and manage the complexities of paperwork related to Dangerous Goods shipments by air.

**Skills:**

  • Proficiency in time management and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency.

**Assets:**

  • Transport Canada Dispatcher Certification.

  • Prior experience in Aviation Operations to enhance your expertise.

  • Familiarity with Operations Control Centers (OCC).

  • Knowledge concerning the Transportation of Dangerous Goods by air.

**Schedule:**

The successful candidate will enjoy a balanced work schedule of four days on followed by four days off, with 12-hour shifts designed to promote work-life balance.

**Compensation:**

Airline dispatchers in Canada can expect to earn between $48,750 and $106,000 annually, with the average salary hovering around $65,000. This position will offer competitive compensation based on qualifications, starting at $48,740 for entry-level candidates without prior aviation dispatch experience.
