Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Building Cleaner to become an integral part of our team. The Building Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the premises remains clean and tidy. With Cressey’s dedication to quality top of mind, this role plays a vital part in creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our tenants, and visitors. The Part-Time Building Cleaner will be responsible in cleaning one of our residential buildings in Coquitlam up to 20 hours per week, Friday through to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, decks, and patios in unoccupied apartments.
• Utilize vacuuming and/or washing techniques to clean all floor surfaces effectively.
• Wash walls, windows, doors, cabinets, and cupboards to maintain a pristine environment.
• Ensure cleanliness of appliances, sinks, showers/tubs, and toilets.
• Execute dusting and polishing tasks to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in all common areas of the property.
• Uphold safety standards in common areas and adhere to Cascadia's Health and Safety protocols.
• Provide cleaning coverage during holidays at other buildings and offer support for other roles as needed at the assigned building.
• Fulfill any additional cleaning duties assigned to uphold the cleanliness standards of the property's apartments and common areas.
• Perform other related duties, as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proactive problem solver with a positive attitude.
• Team player who can collaborate with colleagues and residents.

Hours of Work:

• Looking for someone who can commit to this schedule:

Friday from 4pm to 9pm / Saturday from 9am to 5pm / Sunday from 9am to 5pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
