The Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic is responsible for providing preventive maintenance, service and repair on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in a commercial and industrial setting while show casing exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Servicing new and existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, identifying solutions, conducting tests, and resolving problems;
• Troubleshooting issues with all commercial and industrial HVAC / Refrigeration equipment;
• Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building / plumbing codes;
• Inspecting product quality and installation to ensure conformance and customer satisfaction;
• Documenting service and installation actions by completing electronic forms, reports, logs, and records;
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Journeyman Certificate;
• Available for rotating on call shifts;
• Experience working in a supermarket work environment is an asset;
• Gas ticket is an asset;
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable 5 year driver's abstract;
• Required Certifications:
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • H2S Alive
  • ESC Confined Space
  • ESC Fall Protection
  • ESC Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
