Job Description:

Job Summary:

Provide efficient and friendly services to students, faculty, and staff members. Support the effective operations of the Edmonton site. Assist with general office duties and tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with admin leadership team to ensure effective and efficient site operations.

  • Ensure classrooms are open on time and equipment is operational and available. Assist with setting up projector and OWL equipment for onsite classes if needed.

  • Ensure that classrooms are properly cleaned in a timely and professional manner after all classes and events.

  • Resolve site access issues for students and instructors promptly.

  • Work with local staff to coordinate events onsite.

  • Work with the IT department to gain basic knowledge to help faculty with computer or network issues.

  • Distribute and collect the student guest access passes with sign out sheet, at the beginning and end of every class.

  • Ensure campus is locked and secure after all students and instructors have exited.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service, front desk, or related experience.

  • Must demonstrate a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and organizational and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision, effectively prioritize work, multi-task, and adjust to changing workloads and deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.

  • Proficiency with MS Office products.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, stoop or bend, talk, reach, use repetitive motion of hands/wrists, sit, grasp or handle, hear, feel, and walk.
  • The employee will regularly use cleaning products such as disinfectant, whiteboard cleaner, etc.
  • The employee is occasionally required to use repetitive motion of the feet and kneel.
  • The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Salary:

CAD 22/hour.
