Position Summary...
The Vision Centre Manager is responsible for all day-to-day activities affecting the people, operations and merchandise within Division 30. The Vision Centre Manager must also see that the Vision Centre operates according to Wal-Mart policy, professional standards, provincial and federal regulations.
What you'll do...
Reports to the DM for professional services.
Accountable to deliver sales budget and control wages according to P&L.
Develops the optical business through executing programs as well as promoting the Walmart brand.
Builds collaborative relationships with Optometrists and other healthcare providers in Walmart and within the community.
Troubleshoots and problem solves issues to ensure excellent customer experience.
Accepts and evaluates written prescription orders from Customers or Doctors.
Responsible for maintaining overall safe working conditions, which includes proper equipment maintenance and following the required emergency policies to protect the optical team and public.
Responsible for following and upholding the proper Provincial & Federal Guidelines when dispensing prescription and non prescription eyewear .
Maintains the VC fully operational during the posted business hours. Exercises their authority to delegate tasks to other associates within their regulatory framework in order to manage their workload.
Must be familiar with regulatory environment in their region and practice within it.
The pay range for this position is $34.45 - $45.22/hr. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
