About the role
We are seeking an Engineering Leader to lead equipment and building reliability strategies within the commercial aircraft program at our client’s Mirabel facility in Québec, Canada. This role requires strong expertise in maintenance reliability, preventive maintenance planning, and cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, tooling, and engineering teams. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvements in equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance activities, and leading root cause analysis for breakdowns and system failures.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) plans and technical ranges for equipment and systems.
- Analyze equipment performance using Lean tools (5P, GSTD, FMEA, AMDEC) and CMMS data.
- Identify root causes of failures and non-quality issues; evaluate economic and operational impact.
- Participate in new project evaluations to define and propose required maintenance actions.
- Recommend new technologies to address obsolescence and improve reliability.
- Lead monthly technical team meetings (MFT) to review failure events and drive solutions.
- Monitor KPIs (OEE, TPM, MTTR, MTBF, Downtime Rate) to ensure progress against reliability goals.
- Set and align three-year reliability improvement objectives including cost reduction and technical training.
- Conduct reliability, maintainability, and availability analyses to support strategic decisions.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $37.37/hour - $58.39/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
