What You’ll Do Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Following up with brokers and insurers to ensure cancellations are processed and to confirm the return premium amounts to be issued to First.
  • To handle all emails/phone calls received relating to accounts in arrears to determine next action.
  • Following up with borrowers via emails/phone calls to communicate residual balances and to confirm the residual amounts to be issued to First.
  • Ensure Carrier discrepancy notices are actioned within SLA.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Be self motivated and proactive
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possess an energetic and enthusiastic approach to your work and a desire to go the extra mile in customer service
  • Be a strong team player, able to build relationships with team members, internal and external customers
  • Solid abstract reasoning skills
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards change and the ability to adapt to new situations
  • General degree of knowledge of Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Excel and Word

Training / Education / Experience Qualifications

  • Must be an enrolled College or University student
  • 0-3 years of work experience, preferably with the Financial Services
  • Industry/Insurance
