We are growing and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster.
The Opportunity As the Director of Partnerships – North America , you will lead and scale Phorest’s strategic alliance initiatives in the region. You’ll manage and develop a high-performing team, cultivate influential partnerships, and drive revenue through innovative partner-driven business development strategies. This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic, strategic thinker with deep SaaS and industry experience.
What You'll Do Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute a robust partnership strategy for North America aligned with Phorest’s growth objectives.
- Identify new opportunities for strategic alliances, with a focus on revenue generation, lead acquisition, and customer growth.
- Set clear KPIs and goals tied to business development and partnership performance.
Team Leadership
- Manage, coach, and scale a high-performing team of Partner Development Managers.
- Foster a performance-driven, collaborative team culture rooted in Phorest’s core values.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance capabilities in SaaS sales, partnerships, and relationship management.
- Own overall sales goals and revenue performance for the partnership team.
Partner Engagement & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners including salon groups, agencies, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead partnership negotiations and structure win-win agreements that align with Phorest’s objectives.
- Act as the executive sponsor and primary liaison for strategic partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to integrate partnerships into Phorest’s go-to-market approach.
- Co-develop joint marketing campaigns and co-branded content with partners to drive mutual awareness and lead generation.
- Relay partner feedback and opportunities to the Product team to shape the roadmap and innovation priorities.
Performance Monitoring
- Track key partnership metrics including revenue contribution, deal pipeline, and customer retention.
- Deliver regular performance reports and insights to executive leadership.
- Continuously optimize strategies based on outcomes and evolving market conditions.
Market Research & Growth Exploration
- Stay current on trends in SaaS, salon software, and beauty tech ecosystems.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify untapped verticals or geographic opportunities for expansion.
Experience Who You Are
- 5+ years in partnership sales, business development, or channel sales with strong SaaS exposure.
- 3+ years leading and developing high-performing sales or partnerships teams.
- Proven experience building and scaling partnerships that directly contribute to revenue and market share.
- Field sales experience and comfort collaborating with distributed field sales reps.
Skills
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles and partner ecosystems.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and deal-structuring skills.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to act decisively in dynamic markets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills across cross-functional teams.
