About the role

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL

The North Lambton Community Health Centre is a community governed health centre serving identified priority populations in a defined catchment area. The Centre operates multiple sites in Ontario: Forest, Kettle & Stony Point, Watford, and Sarnia. Our interdisciplinary team provides primary health care, health promotion and community development services.

The North Lambton Community Health Centre is currently seeking applicants for the following position:

Floater Receptionist
All Sites
37.5 hours/week

The Floater Receptionist will be responsible for referrals, scanning, demographics, meet and greets, and may take on special projects. In addition, the incumbent will provide front line receptionist coverage, i.e., telephone communication with clients and visitors, schedule appointments, and coordinate client flow as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two to five years of experience as a receptionist in a health care facility.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and expertise in dealing with the public.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage frequent interruptions.

  • Computer proficiency, medical terminology, experience with electronic records.

  • Understanding of the Community Health Centre Model of Care is an asset.

Flexible hours of work are required. The incumbent will be required to travel between all sites. The salary for this position is $38,899 - $46,200 (on a six-step grid). This is a permanent position that includes benefits and HOOPP
