About the role
As an Marketing Professional Trainee you will enroll in our company-paid 12-month training program that will involve job shadowing with seasoned sales representatives as they visit clients and sell our software products. You will present our Reynolds solutions to prospects and customers and to collect competitive intelligence information to support our sales team. Leading up to the presentation, you will facilitate the discovery process as well as the planning and coordination of the products, marketing strategy and field representatives needed to meet the expectations of the customer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver best in class solution presentations to OEMs, partners, and other companies within the automotive industry
- Participate in tradeshows/industry events
- Coordinate your own schedule and work one-on- one with the sales person to set up presentations
- Monitor individual work load and prioritize responsibilities
- Use of time for learning, growth and development
Physical Requirements
- To train and support, it requires core physical abilities:
- Driving company vehicles and occasional airfare travel
- Sitting, walking and standing throughout the work day
- Some company-paid overnight travel required – travel accommodations and overnight stays will be made by the company
Training
Classroom style training and on-the job
During training you will complete different courses throughout the program including training on sales techniques, negotiations, dealership operations, and in-depth product training on our dealership Retail Management System
At the end of your training, when you are prepared with the appropriate skills and knowledge, you will complete a ten-day Techniques Workshop, ending with a Closing Presentation that will allow you to showcase the skills you have gained throughout the program and will prepare you for your own territory
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, College diploma, or equivalent experience
- Automotive experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
- Ability to travel to the United States for training when deemed appropriate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel 75% during training, 50% after training is complete
