About the Role:
As a National Customer Business Manager for Walmart, you will play a pivotal role in driving Ferrero’s success by leading the development and execution of the Triple Win Model—delivering value for Walmart, Ferrero, and the shopper. You will be empowered to own topline sales and revenue growth across assigned categories, directly influencing Ferrero’s performance at one of our most strategic retail partners.
In this role, you will:
- Shape and implement sales strategies—including targets, programs, commercial initiatives, and promotional policies—in close collaboration with the Associate Sales Director.
- Align your efforts with Ferrero’s corporate objectives and annual volume and trade targets, ensuring your strategies support broader business goals.
- Partner with Walmart’s retail teams to bring your plans to life in-store, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with Ferrero’s strategic vision.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration, working with internal and external stakeholders to drive category growth and elevate the Ferrero brand presence.

Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Budget Management
- Drive topline sales and revenue by aligning trade spend with business goals.
- Develop volume forecasts and annual business plans to support growth targets.
- Monitor budget performance and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for Walmart category buyers, building strong, collaborative partnerships.
- Communicate customer strategies and promotional plans to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and field sales to ensure flawless execution.
Joint Business Planning & Growth Strategy
- Lead the development of the Triple Win Model and Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Walmart.
- Identify growth opportunities by category and store format, and recommend strategic actions.
- Address performance gaps with tailored solutions including pricing, promotions, and new initiatives.
Promotions & Negotiation
- Prepare and present promotional contracts aligned with trade marketing strategies.
- Negotiate and implement promotional plans, identifying new opportunities to drive sales.
Sales & Inventory Optimization
- Maintain accurate forecasts and monitor inventory levels to maximize sell-through and freshness.
- Analyze store-level performance and recommend inventory adjustments or field resource deployment.
Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze sales results, market trends, and category performance to inform business decisions.
- Conduct post-program evaluations and support planogram development with actionable insights.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required; 4+ years of experience in the CPG/FMCG industry
- Proven experience selling to Walmart, with strong knowledge of Walmart’s culture, systems (Retail Link), and operating guidelines
- Deep understanding of grocery retail, distribution networks, and category management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros), database management, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in budget planning, fiscal management, and sales promotion execution
- Skilled in negotiation, financial analysis, and presentation development
- Familiarity with trade marketing and joint business planning processes
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement strategic sales initiatives across multiple categories
