Room Service Server
With a friendly, approachable nature and a love for fast-paced environments, you find joy in creating memorable experiences for guests. As the Room Service Server, you'll play a key role in ensuring each guest receives a personalized, timely, and enjoyable dining experience. You'll take pride in providing impeccable service while handling each order with care and attention to detail, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a memorable stay. As the Room Service Server you will:

Be Exacting - arriving at work on time and getting your work area/trays set up and ready, and then keeping the area clean throughout the day is a key part of your job. Ensuring that a tray is perfect, with all needed service articles included, is key to a good room service order. As service or your shift ends, all cleaning duties related to the rooms service area may also fall into your role.

Be a Food & Beverage Professional – understanding, explaining, suggesting and presenting an order in a professional way is your role. You are offering prompt, excellent service and thus creating a wonderful in-room dining experience for our guests, including presenting the check and retrieving the trays as needed.

Be a Safety & Security Agent – follow your hotel’s established safety and security policies & procedures. Anticipate problems and call management as needed. ServSafe certificate/alcohol training required.
Job Requirements
A high school education or equivalent preferred and at least one year of progressive experience in food & beverage required and Serve Right certification required. Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, as needed. Medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time without sitting or leaning. Must possess fluency in English and be able to work in stressful, high pressure situations with a strong ability to multi-task.
