About the role
- Regular weekly donation batch review and approvals.
- Regularly scheduled complex data pulls, and particularly those data pulls related to distribution lists for Development strategies.
- Assistance in a critical project to reconfigure data architecture related to organization contacts and relationship management records to facilitate more streamlined data pulls for organization record types. In particular, this would facilitate pulling lists of organizational contacts which is currently a very time-consuming and labour-intensive process.
- Assistance with reporting:
- Miscellaneous non-cyclical reporting, such as one-off custom reports (e.g.: consolidated donor reports) and other one-off analysis.
- Help to transition the current cyclical reporting In RE to ‘webview’ format from the legacy ‘database-view’ format.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a plan to transition day-to-day operations from ‘database-view’ to ‘webview’ as the legacy ‘database view’ is looking to be shut down by Blackbaud by the end of the calendar year. This would involve transitioning related existing and new procedures to ‘webview-based’ Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assistance troubleshooting the day-to-day questions of Advancement staff related to RE
- Experience working with Raisers Edge or other fundraising / not-for-profit databases
- Possess a strong understanding of database objects and database systems
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools
- Ability to create and manage dashboards for data visualization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in the not-for-profit or education sector, specific to donor management
