Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Python & SQL Developer with a solid background in VBA scripting and a strong grasp of accounting and finance principles, particularly in 14A regulatory reporting. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven solutions to streamline financial reporting and automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Python scripts and SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting tasks.
• Automate manual workflows using VBA macros, VBScript, and other scripting tools across Microsoft Office applications.
• Support and enhance 14A regulatory reporting processes to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Work closely with finance and accounting teams to gather requirements and deliver efficient, reliable solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing code, reports, and data processes.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for developed solutions, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in Python, especially for data processing and automation using Pandas and dataframes.
• Advanced SQL skills including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with VBA macros, VBA coding, and VBScript for Excel and other Office applications.
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance concepts, with specific experience in 14A regulatory reporting.
• Proven experience in scripting and automation within a financial environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
