We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Treasury to join our Treasury team.

Summary:
The Senior Analyst, Treasury collaborates seamlessly with the Manager, Treasury and Senior Manager, Treasury to support the ongoing operations and analytics of the Treasury department. This involves autonomously updating models and performing analysis to support the administration, monitoring and management of Funding, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk including the securitization program, broker deposit program, and hedging program. The position will support the preparation of ALCO materials, treasury dashboards and updating monthly funding plans, liquidity stress testing and interest rate risk forecasting.

Job responsibilities:
Securitization:

  • Prepare treasury dashboard daily to support pricing of SF mortgages and economics of securitization, aggregators and conduits.
  • Perform mark to market, gains on sale, and quarterly fair value reporting.
  • Maintain Single-Family Pricing Committee updates Committee updates and minutes.
  • Execute and post intercompany loan sales and inventory levels to support securitization and XMC liquidity.
  • Prepare ongoing reporting and due diligence for CMHC.

Liquidity Management:

  • Update the cash management model on a daily basis to support cash management operations.
  • Administer MCAN's credit lines in accordance with their respective agreements to facilitate advances and withdrawals; as well as monthly, quarterly and annual compliance.
  • Prepare daily deposit dashboard to support rate setting and manage brokers concentrations.

Asset Liability Management:

  • Perform data reconciliation of ALM model and update assumptions.
  • Prepare and report liquidity metrics to OSFI.
  • Assist in preparing monthly funding plans and liquidity stress testing.
  • Support in the coordination and preparation of ALCO reporting including liquidity and Interest rate metrics and charts, hedging material.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Treasury.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
  • CFA, FRM or CTP is an asset.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with treasury operations (securitization, deposit funding), Financial Risk, regulatory guidelines,.
  • Strong Excel, Power BI skills. Familiarity with Treasury management systems is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
