The Senior Director, Insurance Finance Reporting & Controls will be responsible for leading the finance reporting and controls function for the insurance business. This role will involve:
- Overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Developing and implementing financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Leading a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation or equivalent.
- Experience in the insurance industry is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
