We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Level Property Manager to provide strategic oversight of our diverse portfolio of commercial and multifamily residential assets. This senior role involves managing relationships with property management companies to meet high quality property management services for TELUS customers in support of our globally valued brand, developing portfolio-wide strategies, and optimizing asset performance across multiple property types.
Overall, the Portfolio Level Property Manager is integral to driving the success of property management operations by leveraging your expertise in balancing strategic planning with day-to-day management.
What you’ll do
- Develop long-term portfolio strategies to maximize property value and performance
- Oversee and evaluate third-party property management firms
- Set performance standards and KPIs for property management companies and governance.
- Analyze market trends and financial reports to inform strategic decisions
- Review and approve property-level budgets and cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies across the portfolio
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants and industry partners
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports for senior management
- Collaborate with internal Risk and Insurance teams to ensure all properties in the portfolio comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in property management
Qualifications
What you bring
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation or Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- At least 10 years’ of experience in property management or asset management, with at least 5 years in a senior portfolio management role
- Proven track record in overseeing diverse property types, including both commercial and residential assets
- Strong financial acumen and experience in portfolio-level financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience in managing relationships with third-party property management companies
- Proficiency in property management and asset management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
Great - to - haves
- Bilingual in French and English
Salary Range: $97,000-$145,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
