Role Description:
Essential Skills: Design, develop, and deploy integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh and Open Connectors). Create and Maintain B2B integrations and data exchange using Trading Partner Management Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop, configure, and monitor cloud-based and hybrid integrations between SAP (S/4HANA, SAP ECC) and third-party systems. Work with OData, REST, SOAP APIs, and other integration protocols to enable secure data exchange. Implement security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and basic authentication, for API and integration flows. Optimize and troubleshoot iFlows and APIs, ensuring high availability and performance. Utilize SAP Event Mesh for event-driven architectures to enhance real-time business processes. Monitor integration health, logging, and error handling using SAP Integration Monitoring and alerting tools. Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP developments, best practices, and emerging integration technologies. Must have knowledge of Platform APIs, Exception Handling methodologies and additional knowledge of BTP Administrative and Governance tasks will be a plus.
Desirable Skills: 5+ years of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, API Management, TPM and related integration tools. 10+ years overall in SAP Integration space. Strong knowledge of SAP BTP architecture, cloud-based deployments, and connectivity options. Experience with Integration patterns (A2A, B2B, hybrid, real-time, batch processing). Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting, JavaScript, XML, and XSLT for transformation logic. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, and third-party applications integration. Familiarity with SAP API Business Hub and API-based integration strategies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to debug and optimize integration processes. Knowledge of Traffic Management and Security/Access Policies critical. Understanding of CI/CD for SAP integrations, including Git-based repositories and deployment automation will be a plus.
