Your Role And Responsibilities As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills.   • 24x7 support model with rotational on-call responsibilities

  • Hybrid or remote work model depending on business needs

  • Opportunity to work closely with global clients and IBM product teams

  • Being the Lead administration of the IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) platform, including installation, configuration, upgrades, scaling, and performance tuning.

  • Ensure seamless functioning and high availability of CP4D applications across development, test, and production environments.

  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for key CP4D services:

  • Data Quality, Watson Knowledge Catalog (WKC), OpenPages, Factsheets, Data Virtualization, OpenScale, DataStage, Match360

  • Act as the Duty Manager, handling priority incidents, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders, and driving resolution with product support teams.

  • Coordinate across operations, customer teams, and IBM support to manage escalations and platform-level issues effectively.

  • Enforce governance, security best practices, and compliance in CP4D environments.

  • Maintain documentation, health checks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CP4D management.

  • Contribute to capacity planning, DR testing, and continuous improvement of the platform.

Preferred Education Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).
  • Proven experience with core CP4D applications: WKC, Data Quality, OpenPages, Factsheets, Match360, DataStage, OpenScale, Data Virtualization.
  • Strong Linux (RHEL) system administration and shell scripting skills.
  • Proficient with Red Hat OpenShift – including cluster operations, application deployment, troubleshooting, and scaling.
  • Strong understanding of databases such as DB2, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS platforms.
  • Experience handling large-scale production environments, incidents, and RCA preparation.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Exposure to automation and IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with data governance, AI workflows, and MLOps is a plus.
  • ITIL certification or prior experience working in an ITSM-driven environment is a strong advantage.
