Architectural Sales Representative / Account Manager
About the role
Overview
We’re looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to represent Canaan Site Furnishings to landscape architects, urban designers, municipalities, and design firms. This role focuses on building trust, providing solutions, and being a resource throughout all project phases from concept to installation.
Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with landscape architecture firms, urban designers, and public-sector clients across Canada through calls, emails, LinkedIn, or in-person visits.
- Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding each client’s design intent and offering product recommendations that align with their vision.
- Monitor upcoming projects and connect early in the design process to support specification and quoting.
- Support the full sales cycle from initial outreach and quoting to follow-up and post-sale coordination.
- Collaborate with internal estimating and production teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project execution.
- Represent Canaan at trade shows, design events, and industry meetups to build brand visibility and deepen industry connections.
Skills
- Has direct experience working with architects, landscape architects, or design firms
(either in a sales, rep, coordination, or client-facing role).
- Understands the design process and is comfortable reading project specs or discussing plans.
- Is a strong communicator, professional, clear, and personable over phone, email, and in-person.
- Has experience managing multiple client relationships or accounts.
- Is self-motivated and organized, with strong follow-up and attention to detail.
- Has a background in architecture, landscape architecture, industrial design, or construction.
- Is comfortable with project-based sales rather than transactional sales.
- (Bonus) Is fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese to support bilingual communications.
