In This Position You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Complete weekly payroll and generate various reports using the data
- Develop and use moderately complex spreadsheets to maintain records
- Prepare and track expense reports for the business team
- Monitor office supplies and order as needed; ensure office equipment is maintained and in good working order
- Create and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Perform front-line Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Duties
- Assist the Plant Manager and the Business Team with administrative requests
- Ensure office and conference room is tidy and presentable for visitors
- Perform other duties as necessary
What do I need to be successful? Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- General Accounting knowledge and reconciliation skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks
- Capable to work independently and in a team setting
Experience
- 2+ years’ experience in an office environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform responsibilities of position
- Can show proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous experience with expense reporting, Payroll, AP and AR.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in related field preferred.
