Position Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in full-cycle accounting within the real estate development industry. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closings, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare regular reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits as required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in the real estate development industry.
- CPA not required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
