The successful candidate must have excellent leadership skills, be able to communicate easily with people at all levels of the organization, have excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate rigor and method in their daily work.
Motivational and creative skills are also excellent assets.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize, supervise, and manage the operational aspects of the various schools (7 schools).
- Assume responsibility for budget management, including operational forecasts, food and labor objectives, and cost control.
- Must travel to the various sites and points of sale.
- Recruit and manage staff.
- Develop and enforce various job descriptions for different sites.
- Prepare staff schedules and plan training (if applicable).
- Coordinate hourly employee payroll.
- Be versatile and perform related tasks such as working the cash register during peak hours and filling in when needed, such as during staff shortages or other situations.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen and service teams by promoting teamwork and a good collaborative atmosphere.
- Motivate, train, and supervise hourly employees and supervisors on programs and procedures such as customer service, culinary excellence, and waste management.
- Perform administrative tasks and daily deposits for all sites.
- Ensure that all schools comply with Aramark and service center policies.
- Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the implementation of programs related to management, health, and food hygiene and safety.
- Develop and maintain good customer relations.
Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of experience in food management.
- Be organized and skilled in a multitasking environment.
- Have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for transportation.
- Handle difficult situations professionally.
- Be self-reliant and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency: online financial reports, inventory software, online ordering portals, basic Outlook, payroll software, use of Office programs.
- Have very good leadership qualities.
- Be able to respond to operational needs.
