Job Summary:
A team member will work directly with other staff in the restaurant to ensure that customers are
served in a courteous, accurate, timely manner, by preparing Burritos & other items and maintaining a
clean and sanitary work environment. A team member will ensure that customers are the
number one priority.
Responsibilities:
Customer service:
Always smiles, greets, and makes eye contact. Is friendly, welcoming, and genuine.
Shows a sense of urgency and speed of service within allotted guidelines.
Thanks to the customer for their business. Accommodate customers’ requests and has a
strong knowledge of products. Maintains a professional appearance both on and off the
sales floor and is polite and professional on the phone.
Product Preparation:
Prepares all menu items to the recipe. Is aware and focused on portion control. Maintains
adequate levels of food preparation to meet the sales demands of the restaurant. Is
knowledgeable in slicing, packaging, dating, labelling, proper rotation, and storage. A team member is able to prepare vegetables, set-ups, and Burritos as prescribed and at
acceptable speeds, while keeping safety in mind.
Team Player:
Team members work well with other employees. They are considerate, polite, and friendly,
promoting teamwork. Will take the initiative to pitch and help others. Constantly
communicates to the supervisor, and management and utilizes the communication book.
Adheres to “shift etiquette” and sets the employees up for success. Asks for tasks and
assignments to help the store. Properly completes and takes pride in his/her efforts while
performing all assigned tasks. Involved in cleaning assignments and completes them in a
timely manner throughout shift. Follows dress code standards. Embraces change in the
restaurant and staff in a positive manner.
Driving Sales:
Upselling- suggesting combos, double meat, double cheese. Has knowledge
of promotions, featured menu items, and LTOs. Welcomes coupons and encourages in-store discounts. Is willing to make suggestions for improving
procedures, and improving teamwork. The team member is aware of events or ways to get
involved outside the four walls and takes initiative in community outreach.
Attendance and Flexibility:
Adheres to schedule as written. The employee is prompt and on time for a shift and completes
the scheduled shift. Is willing to adjust the schedule when necessary and willing to work more
than originally scheduled when needed. Gives minimum 8 hours notice of illness. Is able
to work weekends. Long weekends are blackout time periods. Puts in
schedule request a minimum of three weeks prior.
Qualifications: Able to wear complete Guac uniform Able to lift 20 lbs.

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene practices are followed during food handling and preparation.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Provide assistance to customers by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding food preparation and cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
