Job Description:
We are hiring two Senior Data Scientists to lead Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with strong statistical modeling skills, experience in retail or CPG marketing analytics, and a passion for driving strategic marketing decisions using data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and validate MMM models to assess marketing channel performance
- Analyze campaign effectiveness across TV, digital, print, and in-store media
- Work with Python (pandas, statsmodels, PyMC3) for modeling and SQL for data prep
- Integrate and manage large marketing datasets from internal and external sources
- Present findings and optimization recommendations to marketing and finance stakeholders
- Collaborate with analytics, media, and business teams to align insights with strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 5–7+ years in data science or marketing analytics
- At least 2 years of deep hands-on MMM experience (Bayesian or Frequentist)
- Proficient in Python and SQL
- Experience with large-scale datasets and data transformation
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex results to business users
- Background in retail, media, or CPG preferred
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with marketing attribution, lift modeling, or causal inference
- Experience working with Nielsen, IRI, or similar third-party data
- Prior consulting or cross-functional experience in marketing analytics
